Among the persimmon trees over a hundred year old, only sometimes the black discoloration is appear at the centre of tree.Those persimmon tree is called 'Kurogaki', and it's very precious. This natural black pattern is almost like a painting with very deep black, and the shape of patten is more than what we could imagine. The artisan Kinji Yoshida is beautifully collaborated with this pattern and created the beautiful plates.
This plate is suitable for display as an art piece, use as a tea tray, use as a dish for sweets or fruits.

Instructions for Care
Before first use, rinse with warm water and dry.
Hand wash only with a soft sponge and neutral detergent.
Do not soak in water for long periods of time.
